Fiery Fall

Bride Jennifer wanted bright red, orange, and yellow for her wedding colors. We decided her bouquet would be made of yellow cymbidium orchids, orange and yellow calla lilies, and red roses. The handle consisted of red ribbon over-wrapped with yellow ribbon and studded with red pearls.

She was great to work with and I wish her and her new husband much happiness. Again, a big thank you to Chelsea Forsythe for the beautiful photography.

Mountain Matrimony

I was asked to provide the flowers for a couple who was getting married at a ski resort this past weekend. The bride was very casual and besides telling me she wanted sunflowers and that her colors were yellow and blue, she left the rest to me. This was how her bouquet turned out.Besides sunflowers, I used blue delphinium, monte casino, solidago, Queen Anne's lace, yellow spray roses, cornflower, and green hypericum berries.
The bridesmaids bouquets were a smaller version of the bride's flowers.

For the boutonnieres and corsages I used a mum that looks like a miniature sunflower. This was one of the boutonnieres. Corsage. Many thanks to Chelsea Forsythe for the photography.

Wedding Luau

This wedding was really fun to help out with. The bride was from Utah and the groom was from Hawaii, so they had a huge luau reception in the bride's parent's beautiful backyard. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a lot of good pictures. The bride carried a bouquet of pure white miniature calla lilies surrounded by a collar of folded ti leaves. The grooms boutonniere was a simple calla lily tied with a white ribbon. The three-tiered cake was topped casually with cut orange freesia and surrounded by red antheriums, freesia, purple agapanthus, and palm fronds. The base of the cake was supported by four square vases filled with fresh flowers and underwater LED lights that really looked good as the evening progressed.

The reception was held under a giant tent decorated with white twinkly lights and palm fronds tied to each tent stand with red ribbon.

The book table included a vase arrangement of yellow lilies, orange freesia, red alstromeria, and purple agapanthus. The table decorations were similar to those around the cake, with loose tropical flowers casually arranged along the table and accented with tall vases of orange calla lilies submerged in water over a bed of blue and red beads and seashells and illuminated by more LED lights.

Celebration of an Aussie

I was asked to provide the flowers for a funeral for a lady who was originally from Australia. It was a sad occasion but I was honored to work with the family to decide on flowers that their mother and grandmother would have loved. This was her casket piece. I was able to find some Golden Wattle, which is the national flower of Australia (the little yellow flowers), and two different kinds of eucalyptus. I also used white hydrangea, orange Gerber daisies and roses, snapdragons, stock, larkspur, and a few other things as well.

One of the family members really wanted to include birds of paradise in a wreath and I think it combined beautifully with white lilies, purple mums, and roses.

A small arrangement for the family.

A basket arrangement with many of the same flowers as the casket piece. White lilies and orange roses made a great duo in this vase arrangement topped with curly willow.

Valentine's Vows

The colors for this wedding were black, red, and silver. When guests entered the reception room they were greeted by a table with a picture of the bride, the sign in book, and the bride's toss bouquet. The flowers for this wedding were mainly red and black roses, dark red dahlias, and black calla lilies. Three cake toppers and black and red ribbon really dressed up the simple white fondant cake. The bridesmaids each carried simple hand-tied bouquets of roses and calla lilies accented with sliver ribbon.

The brides bouquet- the pictures just don't do it justice!

Winter Romance

This bride chose a spectrum of purple and pink flowers to complement her purple color scheme, including lavender and pink roses, purple lisianthus, alstromeria, and stock.
